• 52% of Small Companies are Home Based Businesses
• Provide 10% of the Total Receipts in the US Economy
• Global Survey:  Average Income Generated is $65,000US annually
• Between 34.3 and 36.6 million US Households have an active Home Office -IDS
• 12% of US Homes operate a full or part time home business -Small Business Association
• 70% of Home Based Businesses succeed for at least 3 years vs. 29% success rate for outside of the home businesses
  • #1 Difference that allows that success rate to be higher is the fact that Home Based Businesses allow people to work around a day job.  They don't have to do all or nothing.
• Estimates:  50% of US Households will be involved in a Home Based Business -Home Business Magazine
• 40-44% of all home based businesses require less than $5,000 in start up costs
• Home Office Computing Magazine Survey:  98% of people are much happier working from home, 96% would suggest working from home and 88% would never return to the corporate world
